Bureau of Administrative Services
The Bureau of Administrative Services consists of conscientious managers and support personnel who perform many of the essential functions that ensure the Office of Inspector General operates efficiently and can carry out its mission.
The Bureau is comprised of three divisions: Human Resources, Budget, and Claim Accounting; that perform the following functions:
- Human Resources including coordination of all personnel management activities, which include, but are not limited to, recruitment, hiring, workplace injuries, HR policy development, labor relations, employee discipline, timekeeping and leave management.
- Budget and Procurement including the processing of orders and purchases with contracted vendors, liaison to vendors on payments and purchases, budget preparation, personnel and operating projections, and approving all personnel actions and purchases in accordance with budget.
- Facilities and Vehicle Management including providing mail and courier services, managing agency vehicles, building issues and leases, space allocation, equipment, supplies, and access badges.
- Claim Accounting provides accounting support for the processing of monies recovered from public assistance recipients who obtained benefits to which they were not entitled.
